Lisa Scott-Smith

Co-Head of Portfolio Investments and Currency Team Manager

Lisa has responsibility for the management of Millennium Global’s Active Currency Overlay team. Lisa also shares responsibility for managing currency exposures for client portfolios in team mandates on a day-to-day basis. Employing a fundamental discretionary approach, Lisa’s knowledge and experience are utilised to establish currency exposures and manage the risk inherent in these within a disciplined investment framework. Lisa is also takes a key role in co-ordinating and developing macro-economic investment research within the firm.

Prior to joining Millennium Global in 2005, Lisa accumulated substantial and diverse experience in foreign exchange markets having been a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Global Foreign Exchange group, where she ran the London team responsible for hedge funds (2001 to 2005) and was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan (London) for ten years advising a global mix of institutional, corporate and hedge fund clients and latterly managed the Foreign Exchange Options sales team.

Lisa’s professional excellence is also recognised by the industry’s forums. She is a member of the Bank of England’s London Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee (FX JSC) and Chairperson of the FX JSC buy-side sub group. She is also a member of the Bank for International Settlements Foreign Exchange Market Participants Group (MPG). Lisa is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.
